The Lauderhill Performing Arts Center begins their very popular 2024 Broadway series with a very special GENVAS salon concert featuring Tony nominee and Emmy Award winning actress, singer, and recording artist Liz Callaway. Ms. Callaway made her Broadway debut in Stephen Sondheim’s Merrily We Roll Along, was nominated for her role in Baby, and received critical acclaim for her five-year run as Grizabella in Cats. Liz also starred in the original casts of Miss Saigon, The Three Musketeers, and The Look of Love. Regional and international credits include the role of Dot in Sunday in the Park with George, Eva Peron in Evita, and Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard. She also sang the Oscar-nominated song Journey to the Past in the animated classic film Anastasia.
This not to be missed concert features “Memory” “Broadway Baby” “You Don’t Own Me” “Moon River” “Send in the Clowns” and many more beloved show-tunes and American Songbook standards.
